LiÍm HOANG NGOC is a French economist and politician born on December 11th, 1964 in Saignon. He is a lecturer at the University of Paris I Panthťon-Sorbonne and a member of the laboratory  Matisse. Involved in politics at the Socialist Party, he is the initiator of the Request for Leave of Economists Sole (1996), a member of the Scientific council of ATTAC-France (1998-2005), co-founder of the Democracy Equality (2000-2002), a general secretary of the club New World (PS) (2002-2005) and has been a board member of the National Socialist Party since 2003. He was elected Socialist MEP on June 7th, 2009. One of the major contributions of this young researcher is his study of taxation and its impact on economic growth.
